EPL Week 25 Results

Here are last week’s EPL results:

  • Bournemouth 1 – 0 Fulham
  • Newcastle 4 – 1 Manchester Utd
  • Chelsea 2 – 2 Ipswich
  • Liverpool 2 – 1 West Ham
  • Wolves 4 – 2 Tottenham
  • Arsenal 1 – 1 Brentford
  • Brighton 2 – 2 Leicester
  • Nott. Forest 0 – 1 Everton
  • Southampton 0 – 3 Aston Villa
  • Man City 5 – 2 Cry. Palace

Long story short, Manchester United suffered another loss, Arsenal lost another 2 points, and Liverpool secured another sweaty win. Pep’s City is back in action, trying to secure a top 5 finish leading to the Champions League. The only real surprise was Nottingham Forest’s 0 – 1 defeat to Everton which have finally moved away from the relegation zone.

Best EPL Week 33 Singles

Without wasting any time, let’s jump into the three most valuable single bets for Week 33 of the English Premier League 2024/25 season.

Bet #1: West Ham vs. Southampton: West Ham to Score Over 2.5 Goals (+170)

West Ham’s form is pretty lackluster, to be frank. However, they’re now up against Southampton, one of the worst teams ever to grace the Premier League. These guys are averaging 2.41 goals per match, which tells you all you need to know about their defensive records.

Don’t get me wrong, West Ham is averaging just above 1.1 goals per game, but I’m confident in their ability to outperform Southampton in every aspect of the game this Saturday.

History isn’t on our side, though. The last time West Ham managed to score 3 or more goals against Southampton was back in May 2021. Since then, they were pretty tight. But, considering Southampton’s terrible form this season and West Ham’s desperate need for points, I expect Graham Potter’s side to clinch all 3 points and finish the match on a strong note.

  • Pick: West Ham to Score Over 2.5 Goals +170

Bet #2: Man United vs. Wolves: Total Goals Over 2.5 (-141)

Manchester United is in a terrible situation. They’re currently in 14th place in the EPL, meaning any chance of securing a UEFA competition next season is by winning the Europa League. They’re in for quite the second leg against Lyon, meaning their clash with Wolves won’t be a priority.

Even if it was, though, I wouldn’t be sure which way to call this one. But, knowing the fact United will have their B team (most likely) and the fact Wolves conceded 61 goals in 31 matches tells me this is going to be a proper goal fest.

Considering that, I have no other option here but to bet on total goals over 2.5. At first, I was aiming for total goas over 3.5, but decided against it because of the extra risk. Looking back at the previous results, over 2.5 at -141 hits the sweet spot and is the perfect choice for both singles and doubles.

  • Pick: Total Goals Over 2.4 -141

Bet #3: Fulham vs. Chelsea: Cole Palmer to Score Anytime (+190)

Both Fulham and Chelsea are having a nightmare rollercoaster of a season. Granted, Fulham can be happy in 9th place, especially considering the fact they’re above Tottenham and Manchester United. Cheslea are 6th, but they need every single point they can get until the end of the season to try and clinch Champions League next season.

Without getting too deep into intricate details, we’d like to add that Cole Palmer has to improve his awful form if Chelsea is to clinch a top 4 spot. The prolific Englishman hasn’t scored in the EPL since January 14th when Chelsea beat Bournemouth.

Cole already showed us he can run circles around Fulham’s defensive line, which helped him score a goal in their first H2H leg this season. At +190, we expect him to escape his terrible form and get into the scorers’ sheet.

  • Pick: Cole Palmer to Score Anytime +190

Best EPL Week 33 Parlay Bets

No worries, ladies and gents, we aren’t done just yet. We still have two more parlays to show off. This time around, it’s two interesting doubles, one with a spicier risk but a bit bigger return as well.

EPL Parlay #1

  • Newcastle vs. Crystal Palace: Newcastle to Win (-143)
  • West Ham vs. Southampton: West Ham to Win (-200)
  • Total Parlay: +155

Newcastle is coming off a spectacular win against Manchester United in this postponed fixture of the 29th matchday. I know fatigue usually plays a big role in this period of the season, but I expect Newcastle to clinch all 3 points here without even breaking a sweat. They have the first eleven to break through the level playing field, and a confident bench to keep the lead.

The second part of this double favors West Ham to defeat Southampton. Yep, at 200, we just have to fancy West Ham to defeat one of the worst Premier League teams ever. However, unlike our single, we won’t be going for a total goals bet here, just the moneyline.

EPL Parlay #2

  • Everton vs. Man City: Second Half to have More Goals (+110)
  • Aston Villa vs. Newcastle: Aston Villa to Win (+125)
  • Total Parlay: +373

The riskier of two parlays for today has +373 total return. First up, we have Everton and Man City to score more goals in the second half. At +110, we just have to account for the firepower Man City has on the bench. Plus, we saw them do the same several times this season. As soon as the opposition adapts a more attacking stance, Pep’s Citizens punish them with lightning-fast counter attacks.

Even though Aston Villa under-performed in the CL last week they’re still within touching distance. And while many people think fatigue will be an issue against Newcastle, I’d beg to differ. You see, both teams have a middle of the week fixture to play. Plus, I’m sure we can all agree that Villa’s bench has been quite consistent recently, whereas Newcastle’s went through a fair bit of oscillation.

Liverpool has escaped with the title, but the top 6 race has all the makings of a special end of the season. There are still 6 more matchdays to go, including this one. In other words, there’s not a lot of time to cash in on your EPL knowledge, which is why you shouldn’t sleep on our Week 33 EPL betting predictions.
