2025 NFL Mock Draft
Here are my predictions for the top 10 pick, using the latest draft odds at Bovada.
Pick/Team | Favorite | Prediction |
---|---|---|
1st Pick – Tennessee Titans | Cam Ward (-20000) | Cam Ward (-20000) |
2nd Pick – Cleveland Browns | Travis Hunter (-1000) | Travis Hunter (-1000) |
3rd Pick – New York Giants | Abdul Carter (-500) | Abdul Carter (-500) |
4th Pick – New England Patriots | Will Campbell (-350) | Ashton Jeanty (+750) |
5th Pick- Jacksonville Jaguars | Mason Graham (+130) | Mason Graham (+130) |
6th Pick – Las Vegas Raiders | Ashton Jeanty (+110) | Armand Membou (+275) |
7th Pick – New York Jets | Armand Membou (+150) | Will Campbell (+2200) |
8th Pick – Carolina Panthers | Jaylon Walker (+150) | Jaylon Walker (+150) |
9th Pick – New Orleans Saints | Shedeur Sanders (+325) | Jaxson Dart (+700) |
10th Pick – Chicago Bears | Tyler Warren (+325) | Kelvin Banks Jr. (+550) |
Who Will Go First Overall?
- Cam Ward (-20000)
- Abdul Carter (+3300)
- Travis Hunter (+5000)
There is not much to say about the first overall pick in this year’s draft. Cam Ward is not the best quarterback prospect of all time, but he is the clear-cut favorite in this class. Tennessee needs a QB and has not engaged in trade talks for the pick.
Ward is a -20000 favorite to go first overall at secure betting sites. There is not much value in betting on Ward, but you could throw this bet into an NFL Draft parlay to try to improve the odds.
Will Cleveland Draft Travis Hunter?
- Travis Hunter (-1000)
- Abdul Carter (+550)
- Shedeur Sanders (+1600)
For months after the end of the college football season, NFL mock draft 2025 simulators had Cleveland taking either Shedeur Sanders or Abdul Carter. In the final weeks before the draft, however, Travis Hunter (-1000) has emerged as the favorite to be the second overall pick.
I think there is value in betting on Carter to go second (+550), followed by Hunter at third (+450). However, I am sticking with the oddsmakers for my official 2025 NFL Draft prediction. Hunter will be Brown on Draft night.
Giants Favored to Pick Abdul Carter
- Abdul Carter (-500)
- Shedeur Sanders (+450)
- Travis Hunter (+600)
With Cam Ward and Travis Hunter off the board, the decision for the Giants will be between Sanders (+450) and Carter (-500). The Giants signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston this offseason, and the duo could serve as a one-year band-aid at the QB position.
If the Giants are not interested in drafting a quarterback at three, then Carter is the only option left. New York has a high pick in the second round, and they could trade back into the first round to get Shedeur after locking up Carter with the third pick.
Who Will New England Draft on Thursday?
- Will Campbell (-350)
- Abdul Carter (+650)
- Ashton Jeanty (+750)
- Jalon Walker (+1200)
- Armand Membou (+1500)
The first three picks in this year’s draft seem relatively clear. New England’s pick at number four is where 2025 mock drafts differ among NFL experts.
After a disappointing season last year, the Patriots cleaned house. New England also needs help on both sides of the ball, so predicting where they will go first is challenging. Will Campbell (-350) could help solidify the Patriots’ offensive line, but his arm length is a major detriment to his draft stock.
With that in mind, I think New England will take the best player still available, Ashton Jeanty (+750). Jeanty could have a Derrick Henry-like impact in New England, which is great news for new Head Coach Mike Vrabel.
Will Jacksonville Focus on Defense?
- Mason Graham (+130)
- Ashton Jeanty (+160)
- Jalon Walker (+700)
- Tetairoa McMillan (+700)
Jacksonville is another team coming off a down year in 2024. The Jaguars dismissed their coach and general manager, making it hard to predict how they will draft in the first year of the new regime.
Mason Graham (+130) is the favorite to be the fourth pick. Graham would help improve a Jags’ pass rush that was bottom-five in the NFL last year in sacks. If you are looking for a sleeper pick, I recommend Tetairoa McMillan (+700), which would give Jacksonville one of the top young wide receiver duos in the league.
Can Las Vegas Snag Ashton Jeanty at Pick 6?
- Ashton Jeanty (+110)
- Armand Membou (+275)
- Jalon Walker (+600)
- Mason Graham (+800)
Ashton Jeanty is the +110 favorite to be picked by Las Vegas at six. If he is there, Jeanty would be a great pick to start off the Pete Carroll-Tom Brady Era in Vegas. However, I have Jeanty going to the Patriots at pick four.
With Jeanty off the board, I think the Raiders will look to solidify their offensive line for a Geno Smith and a running back they take later in the draft.
The top linemen left on the board are Armand Membou (+275) and Will Campbell (+3500). Campbell was the top lineman prospect at the start of the offseason, but Membou has shot up draft boards recently.
New York Jets Favored to Draft Offensive Line With 7th Pick
- Armand Membou (+150)
- Tyler Warren (+275)
- Kelvin Banks Jr. (+550)
- Mason Graham (+700)
The Aaron Rodgers experiment in New York failed for many reasons, chief among them the team’s poor offensive line. So, it is no surprise that two of the top three favorites for the seventh overall pick are linemen.
Membou is the +150 favorite, but I have him going a pick ahead of New York. On the bright side, the Jets and their fans will be overjoyed to land Will Campbell (+2200) with the seventh pick.
Who Will Carolina Draft in Round One?
- Jalon Walker (+150)
- Mykel Williams (+350)
- Kelvin Banks Jr. (+500)
- Tetairoa McMillan (+500)
Carolina is one of the most overlooked teams in the draft. The Panthers have the eighth pick and are favored to select Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker (+150). Another Bulldog, Mykel Williams, has the second-best odds at +350.
Walker racked up 12.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss in his 43 career games at Georgia. His stats may not jump off the page, but Walker had limited opportunities in a loaded Bulldogs defense. Carolina desperately needs pass rushers, and Walker is the best available option in my NFL Draft 2025 mock.
Will New Orleans Draft Carr’s Replacement?
- Shedeur Sanders (+325)
- Mykel Williams (+490)
- Tyler Warren (+600)
- Jaxson Dart (+700)
- Mason Graham (+750)
- Shemar Stewart (+750)
New Orleans is one of the most interesting teams in this year’s draft. The Saints hired a new coach, Kellen Moore, and are suddenly in need of a quarterback. Derek Carr was New Orleans’ starter, but he could miss the entire 2025 season due to a shoulder injury.
Carr’s time with the Saints has been underwhelming, so his injury could effectively end his time with the team. Sanders and Jaxson Dart are both likely to be available at pick number nine, giving the Saints their pick of the second quarterback drafted in 2025.
Dart’s playing style most resembles Jalen Hurts, who led the Eagles to a victory in Super Bowl 59 with Moore as his OC. Considering that, I believe that the Saints will take Dart (+700) with the ninth overall pick.
Chicago Adds Help for Caleb Williams With 10th Pick
- Tyler Warren (+325)
- Ashton Jeanty (+400)
- Kelvin Banks Jr. (+550)
- Colston Loveland (+850)
- Mykel Williams (+850)
- Armand Membou (+1600)
Rounding out the top 10 picks in the 2025 NFL mock drafts are the Chicago Bears. Year one of the Caleb Williams was a bust, but the former number one pick received plenty of help this season. Chicago rebuilt its offensive line and hired Ben Johnson as their new head coach.
The Bears’ defense is solid, allowing Chicago to focus on adding more help for Williams in the first round. Penn State’s Tyler Warren is the favorite at +325. However, I think Chicago will follow the Lions’ lead and continue to strengthen its offensive line by drafting Kelvin Banks Jr. (+550).
